Page detail. All Saints'. Decorative border and initial with miniature. In centre, Christ throned, in blue, on green seat. At right, the Virgin heading a group of five virgins. On left, St. Peter heading a group of Apostles, etc. In front, on a green pavement lies a black monk, apparently asleep. This is the vision seen by the sacristan (custos) of St Peter's at Rome, the year after the institution of the Feast.
