Description:
Letter to Laud from William Juxon, Bishop of London elect and afterwards Archbishop of Canterbury, enclosing a text in the hand of Charles I for an alteration to the prayers for the Queen and the royal family in the Book of Common Prayer. Juxon points out that the name of Elizabeth, Queen of Bohemia, has been omitted. Autograph, signed. With an endorsement in the hand of Laud noting his receipt of the letter on 17 October 1633.
