Description:
The flyleaves at the beginning are from an admirably written
early xiiith cent. MS. in pointed hand, pale ink, double cols. of
43 lines of Homilies on the Gospels in French. The text of the
first page (formerly stuck to a binding) is somewhat damaged. The
leaves are consecutive. They belong to the Common of Saints. On
ii b is the rubric:
Co est le comun Ewangelie de martyrs sulum seint luc.
En icel tens etc. Saucuns uiaut uenir apres moi etc.
Le trentime duos omelie seint Gregorie meimes le ewang.
Porce que nostre sires uint nouiaus hum el mund. Dona il nouiaus comandemenz
al munde.
