Compiled in preparation for the coronation, which took place on 23 April 1702. The coronation was performed by Thomas Tenison, Archbishop of Canterbury.
This is the copy owned by Tenison. It contains corrections added throughout in his hand, amending the service for use in his coronation of George I in 1714.
