On the flyleaves are various scribbles: some rhyming verses
beginning:

Rychard Kyngsmyll is a honest man etc.
Robart guysby is a honest man havyng wytnes of Mr John
Serell master Peter Tychborne and many other in the
parysch of Alta clera (Highclere).
Another scribble is dated 1455.
