Description:
Treasurer's accounts to the Governors of Queen Anne's Bounty. Each year shows the receipts and disbursements, giving date, description and amount. Disbursements includes details of interest payments made to particular livings on Lady Day and Michaelmas, respectively. The accounts were annually examined and approved by the General Court of Queen Anne's Bounty. These accounts include not only those of Vincent Matthias but also William Stevens, who followed him as Treasurer.
