The writer in white marks T on the forehead of the third of three seated men. R. The five executioners slay five or six men. Text. Blue ground. L. Ezekiel looks to R. A hand in a cloud thrusts a roll of a book into his mouth. R. He sits holding a round vessel and shaves off his moustache. These pictures were not known to Dr. Neuss when he wrote his excellent study on the iconography of Ezekiel.
